Q?

Before the class

  • Do not eat for at least 2 hours before the class. Please arrive a few minutes early. Classes will start and end on time. Please switch off mobile phones and leave shoes outside. Please inform me of any medical condition after consulting your doctor.
  • Trust your own intuition about how far to push yourself physically. You should not strain yourself, but you do need to work and push beyond some of your perceived boundaries. Remember that yoga is not about competing with others.

What to wear

  • Loose comfortable clothing such as T- Shirts and jogging pants/loose trousers. Yoga is done in bare feet.

Insurance

  • The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) provides insurance cover. BWY is recognised by the Sports Council as the governing body for Yoga in Great Britain.

Registration

  • At the start of your first class you will be asked to complete a confidential registration form detailing any medication, injuries or conditions. This is important to ensure that you can practise safely and be given alternatives where necessary. If you wish to discuss anything in private, please contact me either at the beginning or at the end of the class.
