Classes
One-to-one classes
• Transform your energy, peace of mind and quality of life with personal yoga sessions to suit your constitution and needs. Balanced exercise and meditation helps to control mood swings naturally.
• In a one-to-one yoga lesson we develop a personal practice plan. The plan is composed of postures, breathing, relaxation, concentration and meditation.
Pregnancy yoga
• Yoga is a recommended exercise from 14 weeks after conception. Keeping mobile through gentle stretching, breathing and relaxing helps to prevent, or minimise pregnancy-related problems such a backache, sciatica, swollen limbs, constipation and insomnia.
• The classes will aim to improve the experience of pregnancy, birth and motherhood and promote friendships for ongoing support.
• Idunn is a mother and grandmother. She has practiced and taught yoga for many years. Idunn has benefited from the excellent teachings of Wendy Teasdill (British Wheel of Yoga pregnancy module). Classes coming soon.
Workshops
• Guest teachers – From time to time we invite Guest Teachers to hold workshops. Our most recent teachers were the excellent Mohini Chatlani of ‘YogaFlows’ fame, Howard Napper and Nikki Slade – List of other workshops will follow soon.
Yoga retreats
• Greece – In 2006 we arranged a Yoga holiday to the beautiful island of Andros, where we practiced yoga, swam, walked, talked and relaxed at Blue Bay in Batsi.
• Spain – February 2010 saw the start of our Yoga holidays to Andalucia, where we stayed in a beautiful modern villa, ate wonderful local produce, walked, talked and explored the area around Almunecar. Next holiday to Almunecar, Spain – autumn 2010.
• Norway – We are holding a yoga workshop weekend at the end of May 2010 in the historic town of Hamar, north east of Oslo.
